Dr Safa Tharib

Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2022, I was working as a lecturer and researcher in the UK and abroad. I specialise in the creation and application of 3D computer graphics in both real-time and pre-rendered works. I have always been interested in the use of technology for artistic purposes for the purpose of character design and storytelling.

My specialist knowledge has led me to work with and on different projects all over the world. Much of my work involves 3D computer graphics, this ranges from real-time application to pre-rendered works with a heavy focus on character creation and organic modelling.

My research explores the use digital technologies for narrative works. These pursuits aim to discover new ways to tell stories through the ever-changing technologic choices we have at our disposal.
