High Wycombe Campus

High Wycombe Campus

At our High Wycombe Campus you’ll be in the heart of the action. As our main campus, it is home to a range of state-of-the-art facilities, such as personal Art & Design workspacesAviation SimulatorGym and Film and TV Studios

High Wycombe is just a 30-minute train journey to the London city centre, as well as a short ride to Oxford, Reading and Birmingham. In the town centre you can find a range of pubs, bars, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and a shopping centre full of popular retailers. The town itself is surrounded by relaxing countryside and interesting history. You get the best of both worlds!

Travelling by car

Our High Wycombe Campus is just off the M40 motorway. You’ll see our building (the big blue one) as you approach the A40/A404 roundabouts in the centre of town.

If you’re coming by car, we recommend using the public car parks across the road in the Eden Centre and the Wycombe Swan. Wycombe Council also operates a park and ride service, with a campus bus stop. See our High Wycombe walking map for directions.

Guidance for international students living off-campus

If you are considering private accommodation, we recommend living no more than 20 miles away from the university campus (see map below). Although this is only approximately a 40 minute commute by car, please note travel routes can be heavily congested at peak travel times and you must plan accordingly. This includes public transport such as buses or trains.

Consistently being late to, or entirely missing, classes can jeopardise your visa and negatively impact your student status.

Please ensure you familiarise with the cost of commuting in the UK so you can prepare and budget accordingly. As a student, you are entitled to discounted travel with an Oyster card in the Greater London Area, as well as student bus passes and railcards.
