Throughout our programmes, students undertake placement opportunities within a range of organisations, including at Missenden Abbey, in Great Missenden. A 12th century former medieval abbey, set within 10 acres of beautiful grounds in the heart of the Chilterns, this hotel blends a historic building with a purpose-built conference and training facility.

Our staff have experience in hospitality and hotel management, with many involved in research within these areas. We encourage our students to grow as professionals, helping them to develop the confidence and flexibility they need to thrive in these diverse industries.

By collaborating with institutions like Missenden Abbey International Hotel and Hospitality School and BNU, we not only shape the future workforce but also identify promising individuals who can bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to our business.

Our programmes are industry-centric, forward-facing and meet the needs of both our students and the industries you’ll be going into after graduation. You will benefit from a mixture of theoretical input but also the links between theory and practice to ensure the relevance of your studies to employability. This means you will develop solid business principles, alongside contemporary sector knowledge, and plenty of hands-on experience working in areas related to your field of study.
