Timetable FAQs

Visit our dates of term page for more information.

Your timetable is subject to change before any lecture, seminar or workshop. For this reason, we advise you to check your timetable each evening to ensure there are no changes for the following day. Course teams should also tell you about any changes to the scheduled sessions.

It is not advisable to print your timetable, we strongly recommend that you check your live timetable on a regular basis via the website.

You should contact Academic Registry who will advise you. This type of change will take a minimum of three working days where current timetabling allows to reflect on your timetable.

This will only be considered if the request is received from the tutor whose session you wish to move to, clearly stating the reason for the change. These will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

Contact the IT Service Desk on IT@bucks.ac.uk, 01494-605000 or visit the helpdesk on the 2nd floor in the Gateway Building if visiting the High Wycombe campus.

The first thing you should do is follow our Timetable Guide, this should have all the information you need. If not, please email timetable@bucks.ac.uk.

There are a few reasons why an individual timetable may not be available to you. This could be because:

  • BNU will only provide timetables to students studying at a BNU campus (High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Uxbridge). Please contact your course teaching team for more details.
  • You have not yet chosen some of your optional modules.
  • You are a returning student who has had referral work to complete over the summer.
  • You are a new student who applied later in the admissions cycle.
  • Timetables can take up to 3 working days to appear after confirming your enrolment

In all cases you should visit Academic Registry (HW-E2.08) or Uxbridge Student Centre who will be able to advise you and confirm your course and module enrolments.

If your timetable is still not appearing, please try using a different browser when accessing timetables via blackboard or re-installing the myBNU app.

Please note course, module and Student Group timetables are also available on the web viewer, so even if you do not have an individual timetable available currently, you will be able to see the timetabled schedule.

If you have tried all of the above and there is still an issue, email timetable@bucks.ac.uk with the name of your School and student-id clearly stated in the subject line. In the detail section of the email state your full name, course and provide as much information as possible about the issue including screenshots.

Email timetable@bucks.ac.uk with the name of your School and Student ID clearly stated in the subject line. In the detail section of the email state your full name, course, the module codes, the sessions that are clashing and the days and times affected.

Please contact Academic Registry (HW-E2.08/Uxbridge 2nd Floor) to confirm you are enrolled on your expected course.

Last minute changes to timetables and/or rooms will be communicated to you via blackboard announcements and your course team
