Financial Support, Bursaries and Scholarships
We offer a range of scholarships and bursaries to support our students. These awards provide financial aid, based on personal circumstances, household income or academic achievement.
Bursaries and scholarships are non-repayable, but do have varying eligibility criteria which you should review before making an application.
If you need extra financial help in addition to any monetary support you may already have gained for your studies, please contact the Students’ Union Advice Centre. The Advice Centre is on hand to offer impartial support and guidance on a wide range of financial issues.

Undergraduate financial support
We recognise that sometimes you may need a little support. We are proud to be a friendly and inclusive university and offer a package of scholarships and bursaries to make sure that everyone can reach their potential.

Postgraduate financial support
You could benefit from financial support through a bursary or scholarship scheme during your time as a student. Bursaries and scholarships are non-repayable, but do have varying eligibility criteria which you should review before making an application.

Financial Aid Fund
The Financial Aid Fund provides discretionary financial assistance for students to help them access and remain in higher education. It is particularly aimed for those students who need financial help to meet specific course and living costs that cannot be met from other sources of support.

Further Education Course Funding
The University receives funding from the Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) to support students studying for the Diploma in Foundation Studies in Art Design and Media.
