Apprenticeship Application Process

Apprenticeship Application Process

  1. Email your nominated Apprenticeship team representative with a document detailing names and contact details of your selected candidates.
  2. Candidates will be sent a link to access and create their Aptem profile, enabling them to complete the online application. This takes approximately 45 minutes.
  3. During the application process, candidates will need to complete Initial Assessments for both Maths and English, regardless of prior attainment and also complete an Individual Needs Assessment (INA), focusing on the Learning Outcomes of the qualification. These enable candidates to identify their existing experiences, skills and knowledge.
  4. Candidates will be required to upload supporting documents such as prior certification (including Level 2 English and maths) and evidence of Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
  5. After submitting the application, necessary eligibility checks are carried out within the Apprenticeship hub and our Admissions department.
  6. Successful candidates will be invited to an interview with a member of the academic team and the Individual Needs Assessment (INA) document will also be discussed during this time
