Dr Shahadate Rezvy

Before I joined Buckinghamshire New University in 2023, I was working as a Lecturer at the York St. John University. I was responsible for delivering the MSc modules for Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning and AI. I also held two Post-doctoral positions in the years 2019-2021. I was a Research Fellow at The University of West of Scotland for building a data-driven AI-based toolset for Fish Health Monitoring. I have also worked as a Post-doctoral researcher in a Cancer Research UK project on Oesophageal Cancer detection in collaborations with University of Oxford, Oxford University Hospital, Heriot Watt University and Middlesex University. Prior to this, I was working as part-time lecturer at Middlesex University London in the years 2016-2018.

I have completed my PhD in Computer Science in 2016 from Middlesex University London, UK. I obtained my first degree in Computer Science and Engineering. I hold an MSc in Telecommunication. I further completed a Post-Graduate Certificate course in Informatics. I am IEEE reviewer and FHEA.

My research expertise includes Deep Learning, Explainable AI, Diagnostic Disease Detection, Intelligent Solutions for Telecommunications and Network Security and IoT. With my research expertise, I have collaborated with several external partners from Scottish Fish Farms, Oxford University Hospital, University of East Anglia, and Herriot-Watt University.
