Since graduating from BNU with a BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering, Neel has kick started his career. He can now be found using his skills and knowledge working as a Junior Software Developer for Web expenses.

Like many of our students Neel went through the clearing process. He shared that after “Bucks was willing to take me on and I instantly got a homely feel stepping onto campus. I connected well with my flatmates in halls, who now are some of my closest friends.”

During his time at BNU, Neel mentions he was able to develop a great range of real-life skills, some of which came from working with different courses across the university. “Working alongside the graphics students was incredibly fun. It was great to meet new people as well as gain opinions and understanding from a non-technical perspective. It really showed me how in real industry, teams like this would work.”

At Bucks we want to help you grow and develop as an individual. Now making waves in his career, Neel says he owes his new found confidence to his lecturers and Bucks. “Bucks got me over the line and pushed me to pursue a phenomenal career path. There were definitely moments during my A Levels where I lost confidence in my ability and I feel like Bucks restored this confidence. Lecturers are full of experience and industry knowledge, they are always looking to support and get the best out of you.”

Neel says that his time at Bucks was “the best three years of my life” and like many of our current students, wants you to know that if you are in doubt about making a university choice.
