Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2022 I was the CEO of a Consultancy Company. I completed Harvard University’s Cybersecurity and Risk Course with an Outstanding assessment in 2021. I recently presented on Chaos, Intersectionality, and Data Management with Professors Collins (Northumbria) and Alexander (UCL) to the UN General Assembly Science Summit (September 2022).

I studied for my PhD at Northumbria (Awarded 2013) and my specialist area of interest/research is Organisational Security, Compliance Risk and Governance with an emphasis on Cyber. These areas are interesting because they are subject to much current development and change.

I am, or have been, a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (Chartered Marketer), the Institute of Directors, the Institute of Management, the Business Continuity Institute, the American Electronics Institute, the American Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association and the European Politech Institute.

My work and specialist knowledge has led me to work with King Charles lll, the Prince’s Trusts, Government Ministers and many blue-chip companies.

I am an experienced Chairman, Non-Executive Director and CEO. I have had success turning round multi-national and multi-cultural private and public organizations, leading Government bodies and developing academia. I am a former soldier with combat and anti-terrorist experience. I am an award winner in private (National Physics Laboratory), public (Local Enterprise Partnership), government (Kuwait Award for the Advancement of Science), academic (Performance) and military (Performance) environments.

I have published books On Cyber, On War, On the Middle East (2) and about Marketing, Critical Infrastructure/Resilience, and Information Security. Today my focus is on innovation and the interface of cyber, security, intelligence, resilience and marketing issues. Market foci are Aviation, Health, Oil and Gas, and Logistics.
