Imogen Skipper
My background is diverse; my undergraduate degree was in English Literature and my masters was in Fashion Business Management and at every opportunity I have looked at the way the topics I studied at university intersect with social and cultural issues regarding race, gender, and social class. After working in a deprived primary school, I developed a passion for ensuring that people from all backgrounds have the ability and drive to access further education.
My job allows me to engage with students all over the country who are unsure about continuing in education. It gives me the opportunity to honestly inform students about their options after college and sixth form and share my experiences both positive and negative.
Outside of work I’m a keen sports person, I enjoy yoga, paddleboarding (I have tried them at the same time), karate, tennis and running. I love a good bargain; I can always be found in a charity shop hunting for treasures and I pride myself on my sustainable attitude to life and how I consume fashion.
