Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2023, I was working as an advanced nurse practitioner in primary care. Prior to this, I was a Sister in Accident and Emergency.

I studied for my MSc Clinical Healthcare Practice and MSc Management in Healthcare at Oxford Brookes University and my specialist area of interest/research is urgent care. My specialism has enabled me to specialise in both illness and injury also qualifying as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner.

I am a member of Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and Royal College of Nursing (RCN).

My specialist knowledge has led me to work in a variety of healthcare settings.
