Our Primary Care Training Hub

The Primary Care Training Hub has been developed to provide an integrated, holistic approach to health, wellbeing, and functional support for students, staff, and members of the local community.

Our model recognises that health outcomes are influenced by the interaction of physical health, mental wellbeing, functional ability, and lifestyle factors. The Hub therefore brings together primary care, rehabilitation, assessment, and wellbeing services within a collaborative clinical environment.

By co-locating GP services, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, sports therapy, and mental health support, the Hub enables a multidisciplinary, person-centred approach that supports prevention, early intervention, rehabilitation, and long-term wellbeing.

This integrated structure enhances accessibility, continuity of care, and coordinated support, while also creating valuable opportunities for student learning and workforce readiness.

All services are delivered under established clinical governance, professional regulation, and University assurance frameworks.
