Terms and Conditions

  • Currently the refer a friend programme only applies to courses starting in September 2021.
  • This scheme is only open to all Buckinghamshire New University staff and students.
  • Only referrals made through the referral form on the bucks.ac.uk website will be accepted.
  • By submitting the University’s referral form you are confirming that you have referred a person/s to the idea of commencing a course starting in September 2021 and you have duly obtained their consent to the referral.
  • £100 payments will be made if your referred student successfully enrols and remains enrolled with Buckinghamshire New University three months after the course start date and they have paid their first fee.  Once all these conditions are met, please contact the University’s finance team to claim your £100 reward.  For any avoidance of doubt, your payment will be subject to HMRC PAYE income tax and national insurance deductions. Bearing this in mind, the University will increase your gross payment to a level that will ensure you receive the full £100 after all your relevant PAYE deductions are made.
  • If more than one person makes a claim for a referral, the form received first will be the only form that will qualify for this reward.
  • Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these conditions or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales
