On behalf of the Buckinghamshire New University community, we would like to offer our sincere condolences to Her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Family after the sad news that HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, died peacefully this morning.

The Duke played a part in our proud 130 year history when he visited High Wycombe in May 1967 and spoke to some of our students when we were a College of Further Education.

We will be flying our flag at half-mast as a mark of respect and extend our condolences to our local communities.
