My BNU story: BSc (Hons) Psychology
My BNU story: BSc (Hons) Psychology
The university has exceeded all my expectations in terms of the quality of education, hands-on learning opportunities, location, and student support.
When I first decided to pursue higher education abroad, I knew that I wanted to study in the UK. As I began researching universities, I found myself drawn to the smaller institutions that are often overshadowed by the larger universities. In the end, I decided to enrol at Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) to study BSc (Hons) Psychology, and I couldn't be happier with my decision.
One of the main reasons I chose to study at BNU is because of the personal education experience it offered. With smaller class sizes, I have more opportunities to interact with my lecturer and classmates, allowing me to build stronger relationships with my peers and lecturer. This has led to a deeper understanding of the subject matter and a more supportive learning environment.
Another reason I chose to study at BNU is because of the close-knit community feel. With fewer students, there is a greater sense of camaraderie among classmates, leading to a more welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. This has been especially beneficial for me as an EU student, as it has helped me to feel more at home in a foreign country.
I also appreciate the location of my university. It is situated in High Wycombe, which is a beautiful and historic town in the South of England. It is well-connected to London, which means that I have easy access to all the cultural and professional opportunities the city offers. Additionally, the cost of living and studying in High Wycombe is relatively less expensive than in other big cities.
Furthermore, I found that BNU focuses their approach to teaching to match the industries expectations, which means that students receive specialized education and training. I have access to unique resources, facilities, and a specialised teaching team, as well as a huge network of guest speakers.
Finally, I also appreciate the University's emphasis on student support and services. BNU offers a range of services to help students make the most of their time at university, from academic support to career services, this has been extremely helpful for me as an international student to settle in the country.
My decision to attend Buckinghamshire New University was the best one I could have made. The university has exceeded all my expectations in terms of the quality of education, hands-on learning opportunities, location, and student support. I highly recommend this University to anyone looking for a high-quality education in the UK.
