Dominique Douglas

For the past 30 years Dominique has been involved in planning events. After many years in Marketing for the Legal Profession, in 2002 Dominique started her own wedding planning and event management company. Over the last 20 years Dominique has planned hundreds of events for private and corporate clients. She is a specialist in wedding planning in London and has arranged weddings in Italy, the Caribbean and other overseas destinations.

Since 2012, Dominique has run monthly workshops training aspiring wedding planners on the realities of being a wedding planner. In 2017 Dominique was appointed as an Associate Lecturer at Buckinghamshire New University teaching Wedding Planning & Design. She has been a visiting speaker at a number of UK Universities running event management courses and has travelled to Beijing to teach Chinese Wedding Planners about European Weddings. Dominique is an Elite member of the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners (www.ukawp.com) and the co-author of "Wedding Planning for Dummies UK", published in the UK in April 2014.
