Celebrating Creativity: Stylised Halloween Pumpkins by Our Level 4 Distance Learning Students
We’re proud to introduce our exceptionally talented Level 4 distance learning students at Buckinghamshire New University who have made an impressive start to their journey in 3D modelling.
As part of their first-year coursework in Autodesk Maya, students from our BA (Hons) Animation and BA (Hons) 3D Game Art distance learning programmes have created a vibrant collection of stylised Halloween pumpkin models. These imaginative designs showcase not only their creativity and technical skill but also a solid grasp of the core principles of 3D modelling.
Each pumpkin reflects a unique artistic vision, with students exploring shape language, texture, lighting, and stylisation to bring their spooky creations to life. From mischievous grins to eerie glows, the models demonstrate a strong foundation in both character design and digital sculpting.
This image compilation features a selection of their work and stands as a testament to the dedication, enthusiasm, and potential within our distance learning cohort. It’s inspiring to see such high-quality work produced so early in their academic journey and we’re excited to see how their skills continue to develop over the coming months.
Congratulations to all involved, your hard work and creativity are truly commendable!
