The Engine Room

At the heart of the venue, the Engine Room is a spacious, adaptable event space featuring high ceilings, original industrial details and excellent natural light. The space is designed to be configured in multiple ways or divided into zones, making it suitable for everything from large-scale gatherings to more intimate setups.

Capacity & Layouts

The space measures approximately 55ft wide by 188ft long, offering a large, open and flexible layout suitable for a wide range of event formats.

Typical capacities include:

Round table dining – up to 300 guests
Theatre / lecture style – up to 300 guests
Standing reception – up to 500 guests

Layouts can be adapted depending on your event requirements.

A New Chapter for a Historic Building

Originally built in 1854 for the High Wycombe Railway, the Engine Shed has been carefully restored and reopened in 2025 as a unique and versatile venue.
