GP Consultations

Ear Wax Clinic

Assessment and management of excessive ear wax build-up, including:

  • Ear examination using specialist equipment
  • Wax removal using microsuction, irrigation, or manual instrumentation
  • Advice on ear care and wax softening

Providing safe treatment by appropriately trained healthcare professionals to help patients experiencing blocked ears, reduced hearing, discomfort, tinnitus, dizziness, or ear irritation associated with excessive wax build-up.

Free services for students and staff

The BNU Primary Care Education Centre provides free access to selected services for eligible students and staff, delivered by trained professionals within a supervised, education-led primary care setting.

Fees

  • Initial assessment and follow-up treatment for private physiotherapy only: £60
  • Private SpLD Assessments £500 + VAT
  • Ear Wax Removal Session Fee: £45 (BNU Discounted Price)
  • Medical reports: Starting from £100
  • Health Care Coaching: £45

Supervised Student-Led Clinics:

  • Counselling: £10
  • Physiotherapy: £10
  • Student Ear Wax Clinic: £10
     

Patient care and safety

Where appropriate, services may include supervised student involvement to support learning and workforce development.

Patient safety, confidentiality, and quality of care are our priority at all times.
