Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2004, I worked in biomedical research at Nottingham University and UCL Medical Schools.

I studied for my BSc and PhD at the University of Nottingham and my current areas of research interest are cardiovascular health, cancer screening, education and professional issues.

I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
