GREAT Scholarships 2026 – Indonesia
In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, Buckinghamshire New University is offering 1 scholarship to students in Indonesia applying for postgraduate courses in September 2026.
The GREAT Scholarships 2026 programme, launched by the British Council together with over 60 UK universities, supports postgraduate students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam in accessing world-class UK higher education opportunities.
The scholarship programme offers financial support of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects, at the 60 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Please note that applicants should be passport holders of Indonesia.
Buckinghamshire New University, in partnership with the British Council, will be awarding Buckinghamshire New University – GREAT Scholarship 2026 – Indonesia. This award is for nationals of the previously listed countries who are interested in studying a full-time, postgraduate taught programme starting in September 2026.
2026 Scholarships
Buckinghamshire New University is offering scholarships for students beginning a full-time, postgraduate taught programme starting in September 2026.
One successful applicant in each of the categories listed below will receive an award of £10,000 (GBP) in the form of a tuition fee reduction:
- 1x Indonesia student studying any full-time, High Wycombe based postgraduate taught programme
How to apply
Eligibility
To be eligible for a Buckinghamshire New University – GREAT Scholarship 2026 - all applicants must:
- Be a national and hold a passport from one of the respective countries included within this scholarship – Indonesia.
- Have received an offer of study for a postgraduate taught degree programme at Buckinghamshire New University.
- Have achieved, or be working towards, a 2:1 degree or equivalent in their undergraduate programme recognised by Buckinghamshire New University.
- Have achieved an IELTS of at least 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in each skill or equivalent before the application deadline.
- Have not previously studied in the UK.
- Have completed a Buckinghamshire New University – GREAT Scholarship 2026 application form and have answered the following questions (maximum of 250-words per question):
- What skills and knowledge have you gained to date and how will they help you to achieve success in your chosen field of study?
- How does the course you have applied for at Buckinghamshire New University fit with your interests and future plans, and how will the qualification enhance your career?
- What extra-curricular activities have you engaged in and how has this contributed to your personal development?
- How will the knowledge and leadership skills you acquire as a student at Buckinghamshire New University enhance the development of your country?
Deadline
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is midnight on 1 August 2026.
Please note
Please note that the GREAT Scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship offered by Buckinghamshire New University.
