BNU Dance Showcase 2026 set to light up Wycombe Swan

Dance Performance Showcase 2026

The UK’s next generation of West End and commercial dance stars will take to the stage in High Wycombe next month.

Taking place at the Old Town Hall, Wycombe Swan, on Friday 19 June, the Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) Dance Showcase 2026 promises a high-energy evening of live performance celebrating the university’s most exciting performing arts students.

The show kicks off at 7.30pm (doors opening at 7pm) and is split into two distinct acts.

Act One features first and second-year BA (Hons) Dance students performing a vibrant mix of solos, duets and ensemble numbers. Audiences can expect a range of styles, from jazz and classical ballet to contemporary and commercial dance.

Act Two showcases graduating Dance and Musical Theatre students in the final-year Industry Showcase. Created in collaboration with industry professionals, this half of the show combines singing, dancing and acting as students prepare to launch their professional careers.

Lauren Vincent, senior lecturer and course leader in Dance, said: “This showcase is a fantastic opportunity for our students to present their work and demonstrate the range of skills they’ve developed during their training. We’re very proud of their progress and excited to share their performances with a live audience.”

Tickets begin at just £15.50 and you can secure your tickets here.
