Avant-Drag! gets its UK premiere at Raindance Film Festival

Avant-Drag!, an exhilarating film centred on the lives of ten Athenian drag artists by Dr Fil Ieropoulos, will get its UK premiere at Raindance Film Festival next week. 

The film by BNU’s Senior Media and Creative Industries Lecturer gets its timely UK debut during Pride month, showing on Thursday 27 June at Curzon Cinema, Soho, London following a string of international viewings in Netherlands, US, Greece, Poland, Austria, Germany. 

Currently rated an impressive 8.2 by audiences on IMDB, Avant-Drag! deconstructs gender, nationalism, belonging, identity, transphobia and racism.
