Enrolment for CPD students

You are a student who has chosen to study a specific module to further your professional development in healthcare. At BNU these modules are enrolled under the affiliate credit scheme as the course title whether undergraduate (Degree Level 6) or Postgraduate (Masters Level 7). Follow these instructions if you are a student studying on a CPD module.

If you are an Apprentice, Research, studying at a partner institution/college, International student on a student route visa, or studying directly with BNU, please go back to the main page and find the relevant link.

You must read all instructions before you access the BNU Connect system and complete your online enrolment.

You must enrol for each module that you choose to study, and you will be invited to enrol when your enrolment record is ready.

If you have not already done so:

  1. Set up a username, password and Multifactor Authentication by following these instructions.
  2. Then access the enrolment form.

Please note: the enrolment task will only be available to you for a limited time. Once you have submitted the enrolment form you will receive an email confirming successful submission of the enrolment form. You can check on the form summary if the status is listed as SUBMITTED. 

Why you need to enrol?

Completing online enrolment before you start your course will give you access to online resources and will allow you to start planning for your success.

How to enrol

Online enrolment will open prior to the start of your module and you will receive an email with full instructions on how to enrol through BNU Connect between 24 to 48 hours after your application has been confirmed by Admissions.

All students need to complete the following:

  • Confirm/update your enrolment record details – You must also ensure that you are registered for the correct academic level Degree level 6 or Masters level 7. You can check the level of the module on the Course Details in the Dashboard when you log into BNU Connect to access the enrolment form. Degree level modules will start with a 6 e.g. NAM6076, Masters level modules will start with a 7 e.g. NAM7081.
  • Upload a copy of your valid passport – the page of your passport that contains your photograph, full name, date of birth, issue/expiry date (often referred to as the 'biometric page'), or Biometric Residence Permit (if you have been issued with one)

OR if you do not have a valid passport,

UK nationals

  • Should provide birth/adoption certificate and proof of your National Insurance Number). N.B. Driving Licence will not be considered as proof of identity.
  • Proof of your name change if not reflected in the above documentation, for e.g. Marriage Certificate.

Non-UK national

  • EU or EEA Nationals can provide their EU or EEA National Identity Card as well as bring in proof of your Settled or Pre-settled status (if permanently living in the UK).
  • Non-EU or Non-EEA nationals – can provide their National Identity Card
Tuition Fees Payment

You will have made an application through the Application Portal Wozzad. For those of you whose employer is within the NHS and they have confirmed they will be funding your studies as part of the application process please select NHS in the tuition fees section.

If you are paying your own fees, you will need to have met the financial requirements for funding. These will differ depending on your fee status, level of study and how you intend to pay. Please check Fee, Liability and Instalment Dates, to find out what you need to do to avoid your enrolment being delayed.

 

Please note you must complete enrolment within two weeks from when you commence your course, or you may not be allowed to enrol.
