Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2015, I worked as a Senior Animator at MPC, Framestore and Jellyfish. I joined the University for the chance to shape a course from the ground up using my own industry experience.
I studied for my BA in Theatre at The University of Alberta and for my MA in Animation here at Bucks. As well as being a graphic novelist and short film maker, my specialist area of interest is character and creature animation. I study how animals move and behave and combine this with acting and film to create imaginary animal actors for the movies. My specialist knowledge has led me to work with projects such as Clash of the Titans, The Jungle Book and The Lion King.
My greatest accolade to date is my graphic novel The Thrilling Adventures of Lovelace and Babbage which received two Eisner nominations and won the BSHM Neumann Prize for book on the History of Mathematics.
