Biography

Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2013, I had a varied professional background in Operations and Supply Chain Management having worked at DeBeers, Schlumberger, Sydney Railways and Procter and Gamble.

My course leader responsibilities are for the FdA Business Management, BA (Hons) Business Management and BA (Hons) Business and Human Resource Management programmes. I teach on modules across the Bucks Business School portfolio, with a strong focus on supporting academic learning with real life scenarios and live briefs to foster employable students.

I was granted fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (fHEA) in 2015 and obtained a PG Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education in the same year. I am also a member of the Chartered Management Institute and have obtained Project Management qualifications from the professional body, Association for Project Management in 2017. In the Bucks Business School, I achieved the National Certificate in Workplace Mediation and as such I am part of the University Mediation Service. I am also a proud alumni of the Aurora programme which is run by the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education and aimed at encouraging women to develop as future leaders for higher education.

I also recently received my Chartered Manager status.
