Biography
  • I am an experienced Senior Lecturer and dual‑registered Adult and Mental Health Nurse with over three decades of clinical, managerial, and academic experience.  I have a strong background in curriculum development, quality assurance, clinical education, and advanced mental health practice. Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Registered Nurse Teacher, with a demonstrated commitment to enhancing student learning and supporting workforce development.

Qualifications
  • I studied for my MSc at King’s College London in 2005 and completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Education, Buckinghamshire New University in 2008. Obtained my Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in December 2024.

Research Interests/Academic Interests
  • Currently working with external colleagues exploring students preparedness to care for patients with a history of substance misuse.

External Positions/Memberships
  • I am a member of FHEA.

  • Six students.

  • I am currently working on a medical terminology workbook at BNU.
