Paul Wood
Joining Buckinghamshire New University in January 2021, I bring my broad experience in enterprise security risk and resilience solutions for large global organisations and government agencies. I have led global operational teams and process transformation projects as a leader of military, intelligence, law enforcement, and security teams, and have developed strategic frameworks for Civil Service agencies and UK banking and financial services.
I have authored a number of articles on security strategy and security risk practices and my doctoral research explores human roles and performance in crisis management teams. I am a Principal Member of the Register of Security Engineers and Specialists, a Fellow of the Security Institute, a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership & Management and a Chartered Security Professional.
