Nicolas Salvagiotti

Biography

With fifteen years of experience empowering international organisations operating in complex and challenging environments, I am an accomplished Business Operations Manager. I am fluent in three languages with a BA (Honours) degree in Security Consultancy from Buckinghamshire New University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) with Warwick Business School.

I have a proven track record of success in understanding business needs, developing competitive strengths and acquiring dominance across a variety of sectors. In my early career, I served as a Combat Medic in the Parachutist regiment of the French Foreign Legion, based in Calvi, Corsica. Some of my military deployments included Kosovo, Ivory Coast and Liberia.

From there, my specialist knowledge and language skills led me to work for a wide range of clients including USAIDs, humanitarian organisations, European institutions, mining companies and leading telecommunication firms. Some of the projects included the development of agriculture programs against Taliban insurgency in Afghanistan; strengthening the security apparatus of mining companies against the presence of illegal miners in the Democratic Republic of the Congo; and reinforcing the operations and partnership of the European Union in Haiti.

My career high to date has been to assist western telecommunication firms in acquiring dominance across Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso, as well as studying the business administration of leading firms in India and Mexico. As a result, today my main point of focus is entrepreneurship and business internationalisation in emerging markets.
