Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2025, I worked as a Lecturer in Computer (Teaching) Science and Artificial Intelligence at Coventry University.

I studied for my PhD in Computer Science at the University of Buckingham, where my research focused on automatic convolutional neural network architecture search for breast lesion classification from ultrasound images.

My specialist areas of interest are Artificial Intelligence in healthcare, computer vision, and deep learning, particularly medical image analysis and decision support systems. This is an exciting area because it enables the development of intelligent diagnostic tools that can support clinicians and improve patient outcomes.

My specialist knowledge has also supported collaborations on projects involving AI-driven medical image analysis, computer vision applications, and intelligent systems.

My greatest career highlight to date has been the opportunity to collaborate with researchers and industry partners on innovative AI projects and to publish my work in leading academic venues, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in healthcare-focused artificial intelligence.
