Biography

I started working as an Associate Lecturer for Buckinghamshire New University in 2015. I delivered Service Management and Project Management modules on our Computing courses alongside dissertation and research supervisor on our Organisational Resilience courses. I then joined BNU as a Lecturer in Computing in 2022.

My history with the university dates back further to 1998 when I was first appointed as a university network support engineer, it was my first job after graduating from Brunel University with a BSc (Hons) Computer Engineering.  After this my industry experience has been for an Internet Service Provider subsidiary of Carphone Warehouse. Where I was initially an IT Service Engineer, then was promoted to team leader, following this I was appointed a middle manager in a role that involved many core IT system projects, management, the service desk and power and site security systems.  Some of the projects I delivered were, Windows Networking, Email and scheduling, databases and deployment of web service and document management.  As well as infrastructure and information systems my remit also included estates, such as fire detection and security systems and some general site maintenance activities.
