Year of entry: Foundation Year (32-56 tariff points or 48-88 for BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing only)

Completion of the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) with the equivalent of 32-56 UCAS tariff points.

  • A = 48 points
  • B = 40 points
  • C = 32 points
  • D/S = 24 points
  • IELTS 5.5 in all elements.
  • Sri Lankan General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) with a minimum of grade C in English, when completed within the last 4 years.
Year of Entry: Undergraduate Year 1 (88 - 112 tariff points)

Completion of the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) with the equivalent of 88-112 UCAS tariff points (equates to CCS-BBC).

  • A = 48 points
  • B = 40 points
  • C = 32 points
  • D/S = 24 points
  • IELTS 6.0 with no element under 5.5 or equivalent OR
  • Sri Lankan General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) with a minimum of grade C / Credit in English.
Year of Entry: Undergraduate Year 1 (100 - 128 tariff points or 112-136 for BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing only)

Completion of the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) with the equivalent of 100-128 UCAS tariff points (equates to BCC-ABB), or 112-136 tariff points (BBC-AAB) depending on the specific course.

  • A = 48 points
  • B = 40 points
  • C = 32 points
  • S = 24 points
  • IELTS 6.0 with no element under 5.5 or equivalent OR
  • Sri Lankan General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) with a minimum of grade C / Credit in English
  • Adult Nursing:  IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no section below 6.0 or equivalent.
Year of Entry: Advanced Entry

Eligible candidates may be considered for advanced entry into Year 3 of an undergraduate programme subject to achieving either 55% or a GPA of 2.30. This is dependent on providing a HND relevant to the course applied for, and based on the availability of the course.

  • IELTS 6.0 with no element below 5.5 or equivalent.
  • Sri Lankan General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) with a minimum of grade C in English, when completed within the last 4 years.
Year of Entry: Masters

Bachelor degree with a minimum of 55%+/GPA of 2.30+ from an ECCTIS-recognised university.

  • 2:2 equivalent: 55%
  • 2:1 equivalent: 60%
  • English language entry requirements - IELTS 6.5 with no element below 6.0 or equivalent.
  • Sri Lankan General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) with a minimum of grade B in English, when completed within the last 10 years.
  • Medium of Instruction letters can be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
