Year of entry: Foundation Year (32-56 tariff points or 48-88 for BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing only)
  • School Leaving Certificate Examination (Grade XII ) with minimum overall score of 50%/GPA 2.4.

For BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing:

  • To meet GCSE requirements, English, Maths and Science from School Leaving Certificate Examination (grade X and XII)/School Leaving Certificate Examination/Secondary Education Examination (grade X) at Grade C+
  • IELTS 5.5 with no element under 5.5 or equivalent OR
  • English from Grade XII Higher Secondary Certificate / School Leaving Certificate Examination Grade C+.

For BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing:

  • IELTS 5.5 with no element under 5.5 or equivalent or
  • English from Grade XII Higher Secondary Certificate / School Leaving Certificate Examination Grade C+.
Year of Entry: Undergraduate Year 1 (88 - 112 tariff points)
  • School Leaving Certificate Examination (Grade XII) with minimum overall score of 60%/GPA 2.8.
  • Diploma (from the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) with minimum overall score of 60%.
  • IELTS 6.0 with no element under 5.5 or
  • English from Grade XII Higher Secondary Certificate / School Leaving Certificate Examination Grade C+. 
Year of Entry: Undergraduate Year 1 (100 - 128 tariff points or 112-136 for BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing only)
  • School Leaving Certificate Examination (Grade XII) with minimum overall score of 70%/GPA 3.2
  • Diploma (from the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) with minimum overall score of 70%.

For BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing:

  • To meet GCSE requirements, English, Maths and Science from School Leaving Certificate Examination (grade X and XII)/School Leaving Certificate Examination/Secondary Education Examination (grade X) at Grade C+
  • IELTS 6.0 with no element under 5.5  or

For BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing:

  • IELTS 6.0 with no element under 6.0 or
  • English from Grade XII Higher Secondary Certificate / School Leaving Certificate Examination Grade B.
Year of Entry: Masters
  • 4-year bachelor degree with minimum grade 50%.
  • 2:2 - 50%
  • 2:1 - 55%
  • IELTS 6.5 with no element under 6.0 or equivalent OR
  • Compulsory English from Grade XII Higher Secondary Certificate / School leaving Certificate Examination Grade B+.
