Year of Entry: Undergraduate Year 1 (88 - 112 tariff points)
  • STPM is equivalent to A levels on a grade for grade basis OR
  • 2 -Years Matrikulasi (Matriculation Certificate) with minimum GPA 3.0/B OR
  • Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) (Senior Middle Level) 5 subjects with an average grade of C7/55-59% (not including Chinese or Malay) OR
  • SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) 5 subjects with minimum grade 6C/C including Maths and English + Foundation.
  • IELTS 6.0 with no element under 5.5 or equivalent OR
  • GCE O Level 1119 English Language Grade C.
Year of Entry: Undergraduate Year 1 (100 - 128 tariff points or 112-136 for BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing only)
  • STPM is equivalent to A levels on a grade for grade basis OR
  • 2-Years Matrikulasi (Matriculation Certificate) with minimum GPA 3.33/B+ OR
  • Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) (Senior Middle Level) 5 subjects with an average grade of B5/65-69% (not including Chinese or Malay) OR
  • SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) 5 subjects with Grades 3B/B+ including Maths and English + Foundation. 
  • IELTS 6.0 with no element under 5.5 or equivalent OR
  • GCE O Level 1119 English Language Grade C.
  • To study BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing at BNU we require an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no section below 6.0 or equivalent.
Year of Entry: Masters

Bachelor degree from a university or recognised private universities/colleges, with CGPA of minimum 2.5/4 or a 2:2.

  • IELTS 6.5 with no element under 6.0 or equivalent OR
  • GCE O Level (GCE-O) English Language minimum grade C.

Please note that the entry criteria detailed below is for the majority of courses, however some courses such as BSc (Hons) Nursing, BSc (Hons) Professional Practice (Healthcare), BSc (Hons) Social Work and BSc (Hons) Aviation Management with Pilot Training may require higher academic and English levels.
