Year of entry: Foundation Year (32-56 tariff points or 48-88 for BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing only)
  • Senior Secondary Certificate, Standard XII or Higher Secondary Certificate with a minimum overall score 60%. 

For BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing with Foundation Year: 

  • Senior Secondary Certificate, Standard XII or Higher Secondary Certificate with a minimum overall score 65%.
  • To meet GCSE requirements, English, Maths and Science from Senior Secondary Certificate, Standard XII or Higher Secondary Certificate with a minimum overall score 50% OR
  • Secondary School Certificate or Standard X from CBSE board with minimum overall score C1 OR
  • Secondary School Certificate or Standard X from CISCE board with minimum overall score of grade 5/60%
  • IELTS 5.5 in all areas OR
  • English in Senior Secondary Certificate, Standard XII or Higher Secondary Certificate from any of the following boards with minimum overall score 70%; CBSE, CISCE, Kerala Board, Goa Board, Karnataka Pre-University Education, Telangana, Andra Pradesh, Maharashtra Board, West Bengal Board, Delhi Board and Tamil Nadu Board.

For BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing with Foundation Year:

Year of Entry: Undergraduate Year 1 (88 - 112 tariff points)
  • Senior Secondary Certificate, Standard XII or Higher Secondary Certificate with a minimum overall score 65%.
  • IELTS 6.0 overall with no element below 5.5 OR
  • English in Senior Secondary Certificate, Standard XII or Higher Secondary Certificate from any of the following boards with minimum overall score 70%; CBSE, CISCE, Kerala Board, Goa Board, Karnataka Pre-University Education, Telangana, Andra Pradesh, Maharashtra Board, West Bengal Board, Delhi Board and Tamil Nadu Board.
Year of Entry: Undergraduate Year 1 (100 - 128 tariff points or 112-136 for BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing only)

For BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing: 

  • Senior Secondary Certificate, Standard XII or Higher Secondary Certificate with a minimum overall score 75%.

  • IELTS 6.5 with no element under 6.0 or equivalent OR 

  • All boards 75%.

  • We are accepting a Standard XII English waiver if applicants have studied this qualification within 2 years (UG) and 10 years (PG)
  • Please note that this Standard XII waiver is NOT applicable to applicants from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, or Uttarakhand. However, CBSE and CISCE can be accepted as waivers, even if the applicant is from these regions. 
  • Medium of Instruction – we are accepting a medium of instruction letter from a range of institutions as long as your degree was completed within 10 years of the BNU course start date.
