Year of entry: Foundation Year (32-56 tariff points or 48-88 for BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing only)

  • General certificate of Education Advanced level as per BNU requirements for A levels OR 

  • Cameroon Baccalauréat with five subjects with a minimum a grade of 08/20

  • For BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing a Baccalauréat Minimum of 10 overall is required.

  • IELTS 5.5 with no element under 5.5 or equivalent OR
  • Successful completion of General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level with a ‘C’ or above.
Year of Entry: Undergraduate Year 1 (88 - 112 tariff points)

  • General certificate of Education Advanced level as per BNU requirements for A levels OR

  • Cameroon Baccalauréat with five subjects with a minimum a grade of 11/20 OR 

  • Brevet de Technicien Superieur (BTS) with a minimum grade of 10/20 OR

  • Diplome Universitaire de Technologie with a minimum grade of 10/20 

  • IELTS 6.0 with no element under 5.5 or equivalent OR
  • Successful completion of General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level with a ‘C’ or above. 
Year of Entry: Undergraduate Year 1 (100 - 128 tariff points or 112-136 for BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing only)

  • General certificate of Education Advanced level as per BNU requirements for A levels OR 

  • Cameroon Baccalauréat with five subjects with a minimum a grade of 12/20 OR 

  • Brevet de Technicien Superieur (BTS) with a minimum grade of 11/20 OR 

  • Diplome d’Etat d’infirmier/Infirmier (State Nursing Diploma/Senior nurse) with a minimum grade of 11/20 OR 

  • Diplome Universitaire de Technologie with a minimum grade of 11/20 

  • IELTS 6.0 with no element under 5.5 or equivalent OR
  • Successful completion of General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level with a ‘C’ or above.
  • For BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing an  IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no section below 6.0 or equivalent is required.
Year of Entry: Masters
  • Bachelor degree 2:2.
  • Licence 11/20 or equivalent. 

  • IELTS 6.5 or equivalent

  • Successful completion of General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level with a ‘C’ or above.

Please note that the entry criteria detailed below is for the majority of courses, however some courses such as BSc (Hons) Nursing, BSc (Hons) Professional Practice (Healthcare), BSc (Hons) Social Work and BSc (Hons) Aviation Management with Pilot Training may require higher academic and English levels.
