Thrive 28: Buckinghamshire New University launches its new five-year plan

Buckinghamshire New University is kickstarting 2023 with the launch of Thrive 28, the new organisational strategy which will set out the University’s exciting goals for the next six years.

Following substantial growth and building upon the successful work of Impact 2022, the University’s preceding strategy, Thrive 28 will lead the way in delivering BNU’s mission of transforming lives through inspiring, employment and profession-focused education, and enabling people to positively impact society and their future.

Impact 2022 saw the University reach its goals for student satisfaction, growth in student numbers, reputation and financial agility over a three-year period. The University will carry this success into the next strategic period, with aim of reaching 2028 in an even stronger position.

Professor Nick Braisby, Vice-Chancellor of BNU, said: “I am delighted to launch Thrive 28 and share the exciting plans we have for the future of BNU.

“Our new strategy is underpinned by four main pillars which will form the basis of our roadmap to success.

“This will be an exciting new chapter in the story of our University and I look forward to working with all colleagues in enacting our plans.”
