Back to life: BNU Art and Design Show returns to face to face
From power suits with an Afghan influence and mythical monster illustrations to a biomimicry airport exhibition and a derelict arcade turn climate museum – the Art and Design Show is back!
Buckinghamshire New University’s annual end of year show will be open to the public from 17-22 June.
Members of public are invited to join the School of Art, Design and Performance to celebrate the creativity, award-winning talent, innovation and individuality of our final year Art & Design students by visiting the free exhibition at our High Wycombe Campus. The show is a great opportunity to see the calibre of work our students produce and to meet the next generation of talent.
The exhibition will be in W7 and on the first floor of Timberlake. Please arrive at our High Wycombe Reception where our Student Ambassadors will be ready to accompany you to the show. It is also an opportunity for you to see our AA2A artists showcase their work in progress as part of the exhibition. The AA2A project provides placements for visual artists and designer makers in Higher and Further Education institutions across England.
Professor Sri-Kartini Leet, Head of School for Art, Design and Performance, said: “Our students have been working so hard to put this show together, which will be the first face-to-face end of year show since the pandemic. We are so proud of their relentless creativity and resilience they have shown during their studies and know they will all go on to do great things.”
The show’s opening times are:
- 17 June: 10am – 5pm
- 18 June: 10am – 2pm
- 19 June: closed
- 20- 22 June: 10am-2pm & 5-7pm
