It was quite a challenge to embark on a new further education journey. At the beginning, I felt intimidated to manage a MA in HR Management, in addition to my professional career and family commitments (with a 3 years old boy to look after). But looking back now, after successfully completing my studies, I am sure I did the right choice. At the Buckinghamshire New University, I was offered a part-time schedule, a flexible environment (in-class and online classes), a structured and organised methodology, in addition to the fantastic people (professors and colleagues) that helped me to successfully achieve my objectives.

Certainly, my academic journey at Buckinghamshire New University required discipline, organisation, flexibility and commitment, but it paid off, as I was able to complete my MA with distinction, concluded with a 95% grade on my dissertation, developed my knowledge and skills in HR Management (thanks to my professors' direct knowledge, but also to the fact that they strongly encourage class discussions and knowledge sharing between students), expanded my network and am now a Level 7 CIPD accredited member. I am a better HR professional now and feel more confident to advance my professional career.
