I'm Ashleigh Skinner, I have been Co Chair for Bucks Maternity Voices Partnership since December 2021. 

I have 3 children, Holly, Jess & Rosie who were all born at Stoke Mandeville hospital. I have a passion for all things maternity. Having a baby is a key milestone in anyone's life and Midwives play a key role in each family's unique experience. 

At Bucks MVP we provide that listening ear of a critical friend to hear everyone’s stories. We take this feedback to BHT and work in co-production with them to improve services. Communication and cultural awareness are key aspects that can impact service user experience so it's a privilege to work with BNU to engage with students at the beginning and throughout their training.
