Naveed Kapadia

Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2021, I worked across multiple industries, including aviation, telecommunication and computing. My aviation experience includes innovative design, quality management of flight crew training & standards, and research & development in human performance and flight safety. I have held senior leadership roles for international airlines and flight crew training schools across APAC, MENA and Europe.

I trained as a professional pilot in the USA, Canada and the UK. After winning the ‘Aero MSc bursary’ award from the Royal Academy of Engineering, I successfully attained Masters in ‘Air Transport Management’ from the City University of London. I launched an aviation business and management consultancy ‘INQUISITIF’ and actively participate in the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) Flight operations safety group to address future challenges and opportunities. I occasionally write as a guest author for several industry-leading aviation publications. I am also a keen photographer and an indoor cycling instructor.
