Biography
  • I am a Lecturer in Law specialising in Human Rights and Legal Practice and Skills, with a strong interest in contemporary legal issues. I graduated from BNU in 2023 with a First Class LLB (Hons) Law degree and was honoured to be named Valedictorian for the School of Business and Law. In 2024, I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP) and gained fellowship status in higher education.

I currently teach Legal Practice and Skills, Human Rights, and Contemporary Legal Issues to undergraduate law students. My research focuses on education rights for women and girls, exploring how legal frameworks can address barriers to equality. This work led me to present at the United Nations Headquarters in New York in 2024, where I participated in side events and interviews advocating for gender equality in education.

In addition to my academic role, I visit Parliament on a monthly basis, engaging in discussions on current issues relating to human rights for women and girls in education, work, and health.
