Megan Robson

Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2018, I had just finished studying my degree in Sports Therapy. Upon graduation I was given the opportunity to help with some teaching at the university and have continued to do so ever since. Alongside my work at the university, I work at Maidenhead United Football Club, RAMS Rugby Club and run my own business.

I studied for my BSc in Sports Therapy at Buckinghamshire New University and was amongst the first graduates from the degree programme at Bucks. During my time at the university I worked hard with the lecturers to take all opportunities for work experience that I could. I secured my first work experience during the welcome week after watching an inspiring talk by the course leader Kevin Campbell-Karn. I am proud to say that the experiences I went on really made a difference to my studies and the successes I have had. I am now so proud to be part of the team that is offering and delivering these and more to our students on the course.

I am a member of The Society of Sports Therapists who are the accrediting professional body for the Sports Therapy course.

My greatest accolade to date/My career highlight is being the first on this programme to achieve a First-Class Honours degree. The pride of walking across the stage with my family and class friends there was truly amazing and I look forward to helping others achieve this same goal here at Buckinghamshire New University.
