Lisa Jones

I initially gained a degree in Fine Art with Honours before gaining qualifications in Human Resource Management and Employment Law and moving into a 25 year career in Human Resources and Organisational Development.

As Head of HR and OD in local government I used my strengths of creativity, curiosity, and love of learning to undertake large change projects, coach and mentor managers and leaders, and manage teams. I have always loved and applied psychology in my work and so in 2016 I studied for the Masters in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) as part of a career shift towards research and academia. Following this I began a part time Ph.D. with BNU in Positive Psychology whilst also working as an Associate Lecturer on the MAPP.

I am also an accredited and qualified professional development coach and now combine coaching, research and lecturing within my professional life. I also continue to weave creativity and big dollops of enthusiasm in everything I do!
