Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2026, I was Director of Student and Library Services at Anglia Ruskin University where I was a member of the University Executive Team and led student support services and the university library provision. I am a qualified Librarian and started my career at the University of Surrey, moving to work in public libraries for Southwark Council. I subsequently worked in roles at the University of East London (UEL) and the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS).

I am a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals and a Principal Fellow of Advance HE. I have previously co-chaired SCONUL and a number of groups for JISC, I am currently a member of the Enterprise and education licensing strategy group.

As Chief Student Experience Officer, I lead on the student journey from application to being a member of BNU alumni.
