Before joining BNU in June 2025, I had worked at two other higher institutions of learning: as a lecturer at Coventry University (from 2021), and as an associate Lecturer for post graduate programme in CT and MRI at UWE (from 2020). Prior to joining academia, I had a long and varied career working in clinical radiography for over 20 years (in Africa and the UK) spending most of my time in cross sectional imaging. 

I studied for an MSc in Clinical Research Methods from The University of Leeds. My research interests include healthcare quality, effects of policy interventions, inequalities in care provision and utilisation, service improvements and evaluating the benefits of care. I am a member of the HCP.
