Gemma Dunn

Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2022, I was working as a Sport and Exercise Science lecturer in Farnborough. Alongside my teaching role, I am a football coach and I specialise in individual technical development.

I studied for my BSc (Hons) in Health and Physical Education at Alcorn State University in the USA whilst being on a division 1 football scholarship. I then completed my MSc in Sport Science and Performance Coaching at Solent University. I have a particular interest in coach development as they are required to continually adapt to meet the needs of their players.

I hope to use my specialist knowledge to undertake the UEFA B coaching licence in the near future, as well as produce a resource to further support coaches in their development.
