Favour Evwerhamre

Biography

Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2023, I was a Visiting lecturer at the University of Bedfordshire. Before this, I had worked with the University of Bedfordshire International College as an Academic Tutor and the SINOS lead (Student in Need of Support) for the college. I also worked for the University of Worcester International College and the University for the Creative Arts International College as an Academic Tutor and Holmes Education Group, as the Learning and Quality Coordinator.

Since joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2023, I have delivered courses on BA (Hons) Business Management and responsible for overseeing the University partner institution Oxford Business College.

I completed my MBA at Anglia Ruskin University and PhD at Liverpool John Moores University. My thesis investigated the work-life balance experiences of International PhD students in UK higher Education. This study is important because it contributes to the work-family literature by extending the theorising of work-life balance to international PhD students who make valuable contributions to research through their academic work.

My specialist area of interest/research is Work/life interface and employee well-being. It is interesting because it addresses the intricate interplay between work responsibilities and personal life, recognising the impact that one domain has on the other.

I am also a member of the British Academy of Management.
