Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2021, I devoted my time to working as an EAP (English for Academic Purposes) and Study Skills Lecturer in various higher education institutions in the UK. During this time, I had the opportunity to support different programmes in preparing and delivering research. Prior to this, I worked as a science teacher in primary and secondary schools abroad and after 5 years, I decided to pursue my career in teaching and research.
I studied a Masters in English Language Teaching at the University of Sussex and my specialist area of interest is evaluating online instructional materials. It encourages educators to be a reflective practitioner in adapting materials to better suit the needs of the students and the demands of teaching.
My greatest accolade to date is having my postgraduate research presented at the International Academic Forum Asian Conference on Education (IAFOR - ACE) in Japan.
