Biography
  • Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2021, I worked as an Intensive Care Nurse within the NHS. Prior to my ICU role, I gained experience in heart and lung transplant medicine, which I entered immediately after qualifying from BNU in 2018. My early career also includes five years as a Healthcare Assistant in Bristol, where I supported patients within a stroke rehabilitation ward and the Accident and Emergency department.

Since joining BNU, I have completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and achieved recognition as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

I am passionate about Adult Nursing and dedicated to promoting high‑quality, evidence‑based practice that nurtures critical thinking and reflective learning. I particularly thrive in supporting students through clinical simulation and practice placements, working to bridge the gap between theory and real-world clinical environments. My goal is to empower students with the skills, confidence, and professional values needed for their future nursing careers.
